What is Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails?
Now in its 15th year, Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails (HDHR) is, “the largest winter kickoff party known to man,” featuring live music performances and some of the world’s best snowboarders in a one-of-a-kind rail jam competition at Bear Mountain.

This year’s music lineup will feature performances by theLINE and AWOLNATION.

When is HDHR 2018?
HDHR 2018 is Saturday, Sept. 22. Gates open at 9AM with competitions/performances expected to go until approximately 7PM.

Is HDHR 2018 a ticketed event?
YES – Anyone attending HDHR 2018 must purchase an event ticket to gain entry into the competition and concert venue.

How much do HDHR 2018 tickets cost?

Will there be VIP tickets for HDHR 2018?
NO - BBMR will not be offering/selling VIP tickets for HDHR 2018.

Do BBMR season passholders receive any discounts?
YES – 2018/19 adult BBMR and Ikon season passholders receive a $15 discount. 2018/19 youth passholders receive a $10 discount on HDHR tickets.

Do I have to be a BBMR season passholder to attend HDHR 2018?
NO – HDHR is open to the public and season passholders alike, with passholders receiving discounts on Adult and Kids GA tickets.

Will BBMR be selling Winter 18/19 season passes at HDHR 2018?
YES – 18/19 BBMR and Ikon season passes will be available to purchase in-person at HDHR 2018.

Do local residents receive any discounts?
YES – Local residents receive a $15 discount on Adult GA tickets and $10 discount on Kids GA tickets (must provide proof of residency).

What is the rail jam competition schedule?

HDHR 2018 is a rail jam event featuring 50+ of the world’s best riders competing on a #BearBuilt course at Bear Mountain.

How many athletes are competing at HDHR 2018?
HDHR is one of the industry’s largest winter kickoff events, with 50+ of the world’s best rail riders scheduled to compete.

Can I compete at HDHR 2018?
NO – The HDHR rail jam is an invite-only event, making it one of the most exclusive and competitive contests in the industry.

When/where is athlete registration?
Athlete registration will be at the Bear Mountain main lodge on Friday, Sept. 21 during the film screenings (6PM – 9PM) and Sept. 22 beginning at 9AM.

Will there be any film screenings/premieres at HDHR 2018?
YES – BBMR will host a screening of PRISM, presented by ThirtyTwo Boots (8PM), and BETA, presented by Snowboarder Magazine (9PM), on Friday, Sept. 21, at Bear Mountain. Both screenings are free/open to the public. Doors open at 6PM with food/drink service available at Method’s, Laybacks, and Boneyards in the main lodge.

Will there be industry vendors at HDHR 2018?
YES – Many of the snowboard industry’s leading companies will be at HDHR 2018 to showcase the latest gear and equipment and provide giveaways for attendees.

Is on-site parking available at HDHR 2018?
YES – Parking will be available in the Bear Mountain upper lot and select satellite lots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upper lot parking is $10 per vehicle, cash only. Satellite parking is free with complimentary shuttle service to/from the Bear Mountain base area.

Are there any non-paid parking options available?
YES – Free parking will be available at select BBMR satellite parking lots with complimentary shuttle service to/from the venue.

Will tailgating or outside food & beverages be permitted?
NO – Tailgating and outside food & beverages are not permitted at HDHR 2018 and will be strictly enforced.
