What is Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails?
Now in its 15th year, Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails (HDHR) is, “The largest winter kickoff party known to man,” featuring 50 of the world’s best snowboarders trying for $20,000 in prize money in a one-of-a-kind rail jam competition at Bear Mountain.

This year, HDHR 2018 will also feature musical performances TBD.

When is HDHR 2018?
HDHR 2018 is returning to its traditional, one-day event this year on Saturday, Sept. 22, with gates opening at 9:00 a.m. and competitions/performances expected to go until approximately 7:00 p.m.

Is HDHR 2018 a ticketed event?
YES – Anyone attending HDHR 2018 must purchase an event ticket to gain entry into the competition and concert venue.

How much do HDHR 2018 tickets cost?
Adult (age 13+) – $25
Kids (ages 5-12) – $15
2018/19 Winter Passholders (Adult)* – $15
2018/19 Winter Passholders (Kids)* – $15
Kids 4 & Under – FREE

Will there be VIP tickets for HDHR 2018?
NO - BBMR will not be offering/selling VIP tickets for HDHR 2018 to the public. Red Bull will host a private lounge area for athletes and invited industry guests, but it will not be open/available to the public.

Do BBMR season passholders receive any discounts?
YES – BBMR season passholders receive a $10 discount on Adult GA tickets ($25).

Do I have to be a BBMR season passholder to attend HDHR 2018?
NO – HDHR is open to the public and season passholders alike, with passholders receiving discounts on Adult and Kids GA tickets.

Will BBMR be selling Winter 18/19 season passes at HDHR 2019?
YES – Winter 18/19 season passes will be available at HDHR 2019, but there will not be any discounts/markdowns. Season pass prices will always be the lowest in the spring.

Customers who purchase a 18/19 season pass at HDHR will receive their pass in early November, before Opening Day.

What is the rail jam competition schedule?
First heat: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Second/Final heat 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

What is the concert schedule?

Will there be industry vendors at HDHR 2018?
YES – Representatives from the snowboard industry’s leading companies will be at HDHR 2018 to showcase the latest gear and equipment and provide giveaways for attendees.

Is on-site parking available at HDHR 2018?
YES – Parking will be available in the Bear Mountain upper lot and satellite lots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Upper lot parking is $10 per vehicle, cash only. Satellite parking is free with shuttle service to the Bear Mountain base area.

Are there any non-paid parking options available?
YES – Free parking will be available at BBMR satellite parking lots with shuttle service to/from the venue.

Will tailgating or outside food & beverage be permitted?
NO – Tailgating and outside food & beverage are not permitted at HDHR 2018 and will be strictly enforced.
